Known to locals as the Rochester Show, this event is one of Northumberland's smaller but most beloved rural events. It celebrates the agricultural community of the Upper Redesdale Valley and showcases the best of local farming, food, and crafts.
With a history of more than 135 years, the show brings together farmers and families from across the area for a day of celebration, competition, and community spirit.
Location: Rochester, Northumberland
Date: The last Saturday of September
Activities: Livestock classes, industrial classes (including eggs, jams, crafts, flowers, walking sticks, and photography), and a range of children's classes and competitions.
Rochester show is a true community effort, relying on the kindness and generosity of our unpaid committee and volunteers. It's also made possible through the support of our local businesses as well as vital charitable funding from organisations like Ray Windfarms and Revitalising Redesdale over the past years.
To keep this event going and make it even better, we're asking for your help. Your donation of time, sponsorship and funds no matter the size, will directly support our show.
